My birthday felt like it was yesterday but also as if it was months ago, any August babies feel me? Having a birthday during the summer is great but the yearly wait for my birthday seems like it's getting longer and longer. Here's a few of my favourite gifts from my closest friends & family, I was incredibly spoilt this year and I am eternally grateful for everything and everyone. *Cue the makeup*


+ Huda Beauty Rose-gold Palette
I have the sweetest friends ever, I could not believe the fact that they got me this. This palette is gorgeous, while I'm not the biggest fan of 'Huda Beauty' herself I give props to her makeup range. The glitter shades are my favourite, I love using pink, copper and gold for inner corner highlight.

+ Zara Nude Bouquet 100ml
Not only does this smell great but it holds more meaning than your average perfume. When visiting my friends in Birmingham we popped into Zara and browsed through their fragrances, I told them how I really want to try one of them. A few days after my birthday it came through the post with our infamous Whatsapp group name.

+ Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit
Highlighter, dewy and glowy makeup is my jam when it comes to putting on my face. I love all the shades in this glow kit and can't wait to use it continuously. Zainab really pulled out the stops this year with this, a burgundy fur coat (I have an unhealthy obsession of fur coats & coats in general) and her classic peanut butter filled chocolate cupcakes.

+ Beauty blender
I needed this after my old beauty blender started to collect dust, figuratively. I've never owned the real one, while I am yet to use this as I would like to preserve the newness of the critically acclaimed beauty blender I can't wait to blend the shit out of my face.

+ PewterHooter Swarovski earrings
I always have a special place for jewellery, and these are beautiful they may be simple and small but they look great on especially when worn with other earrings.

Quiz clothing, a company that is relatively new to me but intrigues me with their sense of styling & fashion. I've popped into my local Quiz store and I have to say their clothes are gorgeous, especially their dresses. While they are known for their occasion wear like their going out dresses, their casual pieces are a must for the everyday girl. I'm going to share some of my favourite picks from their website. 

+ Flower embroidered shirt 

Embroidery has not lost its shine and is here to stay for another season. I love a classic striped shirt but this one has a little more detail with the flowers and can look great dressed up or down and is perfect for the warmer months. 

+ White strappy sandals 

These heels are a staple when it comes to shoes especially for going out, the block heel makes it more comfortable but also more stable. I love the fact that they're white, you can wear an all-black outfit and switch it up by wearing contrasting heels. 

+ Rose gold Tassel earrings 

Tassel earrings have been all the rage! I love them they're so trendy with high street stores selling them in every possible style & shade. I adore the pink colour of these, they're a little more subtle as the tassel is a little slimmer than your usual one, nonetheless they are great for adding a little something to a casual outfit. 

+ Nude velvet clutch 

This is the epitome of millennial pink and I am living for this bag. It's the perfect combination of pink, velvet & crystals, 3 things I absolutely adore. This clutch is great for any outfit, it's small but is sure to make a statement. 

+ Nude Palazzo trousers 

You guys know how obsessed I am with trousers, whether it's a classic black pair or a more fun pair they're just so comfy but so put-together. I really like colour of these, they're a little different as they are warmer shade of nude. Palazzo trousers are everywhere and are a great alternative to a dress when it comes to going out.

Now I do not shy away from posting reviews on my blog, I love being able to share things with you guys whether it is fashion or beauty. I've got a little haul as well as a review on Gamiss, an online website that sell some really cute stuff that I'm sure you will like. 

+ Metal Ring Crossbody bag in blue 

This is definitely a dupe for the Chloe 'pixie' bag but for a fraction of the price and in a wide range of colours too. I don't know why I went for the blue colour since it is out of my comfort zone but I have loved styling it with monochrome outfits. It may look small but it sure can hold a lot, I'm talking phone, mirror, lipstick, wallet etc. 

+ Batwing Striped Sweater in brick red

I adore the colour of this jumper it is the perfect shade of brown and the white chevron stripes really add a little something. Also this is one of the softest jumpers I own, it feels so nice to wear and you can wear it with basically everything jeans, trousers or even a skirt.

+ Fan Shaped Earrings 

How fun are these? Unlike your classic gold this is more on the bronze side but I really like that. The fan shape make the earrings look more expensive than they are and the droplet shaped diamonds are so beautiful. They are lightweight and incredibly comfortable to wear. 

+ Contrasting Colour Handbag 

I thought the shape of this bag was minimal and it's nothing like I own, not that I need another bag. Again the hardware on this bag is more on the bronze side which makes it a little different. The design of this bag is super sleek and paired back and I love the pop of burgundy and tan on the sides and the handle.  

+ Fishnet Socks in black 

Clearly I am not over the fishnet trend and I don't think I will be for quite a while. Fishnets are great for layering and adding a little texture to your outfit without killing the whole vibe. These are a thicker fishnet and so they won't rip unlike the thinner ones and they wash really well too.

If there is one item of jewellery I am constantly wearing or I will always reach for (aside from my rings, of course) or if I want to make a little more of an effort then it is always 'earrings'. You can find them in all different shapes, sizes, patterns and colours. I definitely have a well curated earring collection if I may say so myself. I thought I would share with you guys a few of my absolute favourites, I can assure you there's a pair for each occasion and time of the day!



+ Crystal knot earrings 

These are so different, there's a cluster of crystals at the top followed by a thick black knot at the bottom. They are super lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear. 



+ Gold flower & crystal hoops 

These are so beautiful, there's a liner of flowers on the inside finished off with a row of crystals on the outside. 



+ Circle crystal drop earrings 

These are my go-to, if I am struggling to pick a pair I reach for these, they're so classic. They can be a little heavy if you are wearing them for a long period of time but they're so pretty it's worth it. 



+ Square crystal earrings 

I feel like these look so elegant and princess like, I think it's because of the shape of the crystals. If you want to dress up an outfit without trying too hard then these are for you, they're not as big & loud as the other pairs. 



+  Crystal cluster earrings 

These are just on another level of gorgeous-ness, they can be incredibly heavy but they look so good especially if you have other little piercings.

With it finally getting cold, cold enough to wear your coats, it's time for a wardrobe refresh! I have a few key pieces from Rosegal which I can't wait to show you guys, they have some really cute Halloween clothes too. So here goes. . . .

+ Off White Oversized Collar coat 

This has to be my favourite coat right now, it has slowly but surely replaced my Leopard print oversized coat. It's warm, big and white. It looks great with an all black outfit and a killer pair of boots. 

+ Faux Crystal Knot earrings 

How gorgeous as these? I thought they would look amazing with a chunky knit jumper in the fall, they're perfect for dressing up an outfit. I adore the crystals and the way they are laid out with the thick black knotted rope. 

+ High waisted Black & Red striped trousers 

Trousers have been my go-to lately and I have been seeing these trousers with a coloured stripe down the leg for the longest time plastered all over Instagram & various fashion blogs. I had to snap these up straight away, they fit perfectly and are actually high-waisted. 

+ Gold Knot cuff 

This is so simple but looks so good with a watch or arm candy in general and I love me some gold! Minimalism is everywhere, this is a little take-on that trend.

This has to be one of my favourite items from their website and that's saying a lot because they have so much cute stuff. The quilted design gives a 'chanel' vibe and the dark green compliments the velour texture beautifully along with the gold chain. 

+ Fries Graphic T-shirt 

I feel like graphic tees have made a huge comeback especially for this SS17, they're great paired with distressed boyfriend jeans or dressed up with a metallic skirt. How adorable is this one from Zaful? It's bright & colourful and comfy, what more could you want? 

+ Faux Crystal oval Earrings 

I've always been a sucker for earrings I feel like they add a little extra something and they're a great accessory as they can compensate for not wearing any other jewellery. These ones are incredibly gorgeous with different coloured stones and sizes. 

+ Velvet Strappy heels 

The velvet trend is not dying down anytime soon and so it would be perfect to grab yourselves a pair of these beauties! These blush pink heels would go with basically anything and everything. They're not too high and it's a block heel so they won't be as painful as your classic stiletto heel. 



+ Metallic Yellow Crossbar Sunglasses 

How fun are these shades? They may not be as practical as regular sunglasses but they're great for adding a little 'fun' to your outfit! Transparent sunglasses have been throwing some serious shade everywhere, you either like them or hate them.

Here I've curated a blog post dedicated to my favourite jewellery pieces for this fall, from rings to earrings and bracelets of course! Personally I'm a sucker for gold jewellery but occasionally I still reach for my silver pieces. My most worn jewellery pieces are rings and then bracelets because you can just stack and layer them up.

- Rings 

I adore rings whether it is one worn alone or several stacked together, there's just something so feminine & elegant about dainty gold rings. My favourites include my gold ring obviously, these rings from Zara and this thick band one from New Look. 

- Chain, Stone & Diamond bracelets 

These are my absolute favourite types of bracelets especially when it comes to layering them because you can get away with wearing 500 or so I like to think you can. I recently made the gold diamond one with different shades of beige threaded into each chain link. 

- Crystal bracelets 

Again these are dainty little bracelets I can stack with the chain ones or wear alone. You can check out my tutorial on these over here. 

- Earrings 

I've really been liking wearing either really minimal earrings or really extravagant ones there's usually no inbetween. The minimal ones were a kind gift from one of my closest friends and I believe they're from New Look. The glitzy ones are from little local markets or from abroad.
