The past Saturday was spent eating truffle pizza, taking countless photos, sipping on the infamous blueberry matcha from Blank Street and walking through the Chinese New Year celebrations in Manchester. 

We started off the day with truffle pizza from Franco Manca and then made our way to Blank Street where we indulged in their iced blueberry matcha and pistachio latte as well as one of their croissants which was *chef's kiss*. 

The Chinese New Year celebrations in the city centre were absolutely beautiful and reminded me very much of the night markets in Phuket, Thailand. The streets were lined with little market stalls and street vendors selling trinkets and food. We stumbled across a small store selling our favourite thai tea and we picked some matcha up and fuji apples too. 

A little pit stop was made at the Trafford centre to eat but to also see the turtles and jellyfish at Sealife. We then headed to Almost Famous on Wilmslow Road for the best burgers you could ever wish for with the biggest biscoff milkshake before going home.

 Here are a few things I have been recently eyeing for quite sometime online: 

1. Summer Fridays dream lip oil - 'Blush dreams' 

Lip oils are all the rage and have been for quite sometime, I love the look of this one and have seen it floating around on Instagram. It looks perfect for when you want a little something on your lips and being able to apply it without needing a mirror is always a bonus for me. 

2. BYFJ - Naila abaya 

I absolutely love the Winter 23 collection from BYFJ which includes their thicker winter abayas that can be worn as an abaya or a coat on top of your abaya or clothes. This one in particular is super timeless with a built-in wrap-around scarf. 

3. Daisy - triple bead chain bracelet 

Now as someone who is slowly starting to build her silver jewellery collection after being a gold girlie for as long as I can remember to match with my wedding bands, I love the look of this elegant triple bead bracelet from Daisy. They have it in gold too, which is beautiful. 

4. H&M - textured slingbacks 

These look so pretty for the upcoming spring months and because of the small kitten heel they look incredibly comfortable to wear. I like how they are quite simple in texture and colour because it just means you can wear them with so much more, dressy or casual. 

5. Mango - double strap bag 

I like the minimalist structure of this bag and it most definitely gives The Row Margaux bag vibes with the clean leather look and long strap handles. This is a lot smaller than that bag, nonetheless, it looks great for pairing with daytime or evening outfits.

 Long time no post? I intend on writing an entire post dedicated to where I have been during the past few months but as for now enjoy a few photos from my birthday last week. As some of you may know I turned 21 and I have to say it was very strange but at the same time it felt the same as any other year. I was incredibly spoiled and I am extremely grateful for all my family and friends for everything and cannot thank them enough. This time last year I spent my birthday in Barcelona, a birthday I will never forget, exploring Montjuic Castle and eating croissants for the entirety of our trip. I spent the week eating my body weight in food and cake with no regrets.

I have been buying a lot recently, more than I should but I blame going on holiday for my unecessary impulse purchases. There's a handful of things I have reached for constantly during the end of July and first half of August. Keep reading to see what I have been obsessed with recently.


+ Kiko hydra-gloss '21' 
I have wanted a coloured gloss for the longest time, but one that actually lasts. Kiko have a wide range of lip stuff and I have used and loved a lot of their products and was not surprised when this one made the cut too. It's super glossy and pigmented too but I still apply a base colour first and then use this over the top.


+ Lightwash straight-legged jeans 'H&M' 
I love my straight-legged, 'mom' and oversized fit jeans, probably more than skinny jeans. They are extremely comfy and the light-wash, borderline acid wash, jeans are a little different. Ideal for the summer but can be worn during the colder months too.

+ Crystal gold bracelet 'Naina Barcelona' 
This is one of the nicest bracelets I have ever bought from being abroad, the upside it was only 7 euros but the downside is it will probably discolour in time. I love layering it with my watch and other bracelets.


+ Blending brushes 'Qivange' 
I needed some new eye brushes for the wedding and so naturally I used Amazon prime and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the quantity considering the price. They are really fluffy and wash incredibly well.


+ Contrast stitch over-shirt 'H&M' 
I like this so much I bought it in Khaki too, both of these can be styled in so many ways. I've worn it as a shirt, a dress and a jacket too. They're great for layering and go perfectly with the rest of my wardrobe.

This Spring/Summer 19 season has been all about accessorising and quite frankly I am here for it! The whole pearl bags, mini bags, over the top beaded hair pins, tortoise-shell everything and cool shades. I have been accumulating a few bits myself and will share the pieces I have been wearing with my outfits.

I have been purchasing quite a few pieces to try and create a little capsule wardrobe for some key spring/ summer items suitable for when it is warm and for when it is pouring with rain because in England summer is basically non-existent. I love warmer tones for the summer with the added cool blue.
