We headed to London for Yusaira's 19th birthday and it was sweet! Breakfast, the first meal spent in Dishoom we all ordered the 'Kejriwal' a classic fried-eggs-on-toast kinda situation with their tea of course. Covent Garden, an embodiment of Instagram perfection at its finest, it's practically covered in flowers from flower walls, to flower covered bicycles and benches too. We visited the Ordinary and to my surprise it was a lot smaller than originally imagined but then again most shops in Covent Garden are little boutiques with just enough space for a handful of people. Our next stop was Oxford Street for nothing other than shopping and food. Late lunch/ early dinner was spent in Burgeri, a must for anyone who likes burgers. The last hour was spent in Carnaby, another area adorned in flowers and admirable street art.
When was the last time I did an outfit related post you ask? Chances are it was a century ago. With coursework deadlines right around the corner along with tying loose ends of my UCAS application for University it's fair to say that college has gotten the better of me.
Here's my outfit details, I paired this white knitted jumper with a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans. It's great for those days where it's cold enough for a jumper but not enough to layer with coats & jackets. To accessorise this oh-so-basic look I wore my New Look patent loafers with a grey chiffon scarf and this faux leather black tote bag from H&M.
One of these days I'll have my own photographer on speed dial just to take my outfit pictures but until then these will have to suffice! Can we just comprehend the beauty of these white roses? #Aesthetics Finally here's an outfit post after what seems like a century.
This has been my go-to for this past week & it's all black. Wearing an Abaya is one of the comfiest things ever especially in the summer. This is the Abaya I mentioned in my last blog post, the threadwork is to die for! Although it may look like I'm wearing a odd pair of black shoes they are in fact black platform patent loafers I promise.
If you've been reading my blog for a past few months you can already tell that I've played around a little with the layout of my blog and I can already tell you 'I'm digging it'. I want to go for more editorial-esque blog posts by focusing more on the photos alone.
To think that we're more than 1/3 through Ramadan is absolutely INSANE! It's starting to go faster and faster each year, it's only a matter of a handful of days until all the Eid preparation begins with the excessive baking, cleaning & clothes fittings. The weather here has been horrendous the past week with non-stop rain. Aside from my weather forecast/rant here's my favourites for this month.
+ Wet & Wild 'Walking on Eggshells' & Topshop Gold Glitter Eyeshadow stick
This Wet & Wild eyeshadow palette was kindly bought for me by Sania from America along with Twizzlers which were long gone. The colours are so pigmented & wearable, the lightest shade doubles as a eyeshadow and can also be used as a gorgeous highlight. Who remembers the old Topshop makeup packaging with the lines & polka dots? Well this is one of their gold glitter cream eyeshadow sticks. I dug this out and can't stop wearing it, it looks wonderful underneath the waterline for a POP of glitter!
+ Embroidered Flowy Abaya
This is my go-to when it's Ramadan, it's so nice wearing something that's a lot less fitted than normal clothes. I love the fabric of this Abaya, it's not that horrible skin-hugging jersey fabric it's a more loose one. I especially love the look of this one with the tassel waist tie & embroidered flowers, I really wish we bought more of these from Dubai . . . Oh well
+ New Look Patent Platform Loafers
These shoes were annoyingly tough to break in to, shoes that look painless when buying are always deceiving but nonetheless I eventually wore them out and now they're fine! I wanted a pair of flats that went with majority of my clothes while making a statement and so these were pretty much perfect (+ they give me height so bonus point).
I hope you enjoyed reading my favourites for this month, with college starting again for a pointless 3 weeks makes me cry because it means I have to work & then blog :(
I was recently browsing the Pull & Bear website and found a handful of things I pleasantly liked so I thought I'd share my seasonal picks from their recent collection.
Now I've been obsessed with the 'Oversized Coat' trend and I plan on buying a similar coat to the style shown above they just add that extra touch and texture to complete your outfit!
Another obsession is white shirts personally I don't think you can own 'too many' white shirts. I love this classic take on with the black pipelined checked grid pattern, its SO modern chic.
My next few picks are accessory based consisting of shoes, bags and jewellery and the odd pair of sunglasses!
Flats have had a HUGE hit this past spring, summer and this fall! The pointed shoe has had its moment but now it's time to bring out the loafers. I love this nude pair with the cute little tassels and the tan sole.

Gold jewellery now I've already talked about how much I love gold jewellery in my last months miscellaneous monthly must haves and the ton one gold jewellery I received on my birthday the truth is I just can't get enough. Fortunately to make myself feel a little better Pull & Bear actually have a 20% sale on their jewellery items making me feel a little less guilty.
Now my bag collection consists of 99% black bags and the odd few tan and burgundy bags but nevertheless do I still root for the classic black clutch. I love the different textures and the gold hardware it really adds that sophistication that every girl needs right . . .?
The last item is this pair of white sunglasses who says summers over? Well it pretty much is since it's been raining the last few weeks but oh well that's not going to stop me from drooling over this pair! These sunglasses are so different from your conventional black pair. It has gold hardware and is a cat eye style suiting pretty much every face type.
I hope you enjoyed my picks from Pull & Bear for this season they're seriously rocking the new trends for this A/W 15.
