We headed to London for Yusaira's 19th birthday and it was sweet! Breakfast, the first meal spent in Dishoom we all ordered the 'Kejriwal' a classic fried-eggs-on-toast kinda situation with their tea of course. Covent Garden, an embodiment of Instagram perfection at its finest, it's practically covered in flowers from flower walls, to flower covered bicycles and benches too. We visited the Ordinary and to my surprise it was a lot smaller than originally imagined but then again most shops in Covent Garden are little boutiques with just enough space for a handful of people. Our next stop was Oxford Street for nothing other than shopping and food. Late lunch/ early dinner was spent in Burgeri, a must for anyone who likes burgers. The last hour was spent in Carnaby, another area adorned in flowers and admirable street art.
A quick little outfit post! I have worn this outfit multiple times, each time a little different to the last. Here's the breakdown:
+ Cream Borg Coat - Rosegal
+ Dreams of dreams jumper - H&M
+ Black jeans - H&M
+ Suede Thigh High boots - Asos
+ Green quilted Crossbody - Zaful
This marks 3 years of me creating my blog, marking a huge milestone for me and I am immensely proud of myself for keeping my blog alive and breathing. 24,000 views and here I am writing my perennial reflection of 2017. Admittedly this year has been a challenge but one that I would happily take again because of the endless opportunities for growth.
+ January
This month I posted my first ever AD with AisleStyle and surprisingly it was my only monetized post of the year. I also started the year off with a review which you guys know I have done countless posts dedicated to my opinion on brands, products and clothing. I have the funniest memories from a trip to our local museum with my friends and bought a beautiful gold falcon ring as a little commemoration.
+ February
I posted my 'beauty obsessions' which went down a storm with over 300+ views on that post alone. This year I really found a photography style that suits me and my blog perfectly and I could not be happier with the quality and the content of my photos. Another outfit post in my distressed boyfriend jeans, I think so, there was a time where the majority of my outfits revolved around these jeans and now that I think about it I barely wear them now.
+ March
After much deliberation I ventured out of my strictly 'fashion & beauty' blog and posted something different, a recipe on vanilla icing. I have been able to share some of my best moments on this blog whether it's beauty related or not. I had 'pinch me' moment when W7 re-posted my photo from my monthly favourites.
+ April
This was a huge month for me, I had the chance to work with Nip & Fab on their new makeup launch and it was a dream come true. The photos showcased the hard work I had put into writing the post and reviewing the products. There was a collaboration with Rosegal too which was new to me and I could not be happier with the connections I have made with them.
+ May
Another collaboration with a huge brand as if this year could not get any better! Reviews have become second nature to me, I love doing them and sharing my honest opinions with you. Transparency is key when it comes to blogging, working with brands is amazing but honesty is paramount especially when it comes to promoting products. There was Rosegal too and I was lucky enough to pick a few things from their website.
+ June
The month of exams, A level exams to be precise. Probably the most stressful month of last year but I am so glad college is over and done with. It was also Ramadhan which means Eid which means dressing up and eating copious amounts of food.
+ July
We went on holiday to Malaga which was breathtakingly beautiful and I can't wait to go back someday. The weather was incredible and our views were unbelievable, I did a whole post on Malaga with over 30+ photos. I did a whole series of travel related posts and I loved each and every one. I worked with Zaful on a post and that was great.
+ August
My 18th birthday, this was such a memorable day, a day I will never forget surrounded by my closest family and my bestest friend. I did another recipe post on my favourite double chocolate chip cookies. It was also the long-awaited results day for A levels, I got A*AB in Sociology, Psychology and English Language which meant that I got into University for Law. This was the month I got my first ever job and that was a whirlwind of happiness, enthusiasm & another opportunity for growth.
+ September
My collaborations with Zaful and Rosegal continued and I created more posts on their new pieces and trends. This was the month leading up to starting University as well as working. I also did an updated makeup routine, this year I have really tried to use all of my makeup. Sure it's nice having lots of makeup but it's a lot nicer when you actually use majority of the products you own.
+ October
I finally started University and met some amazing friends along the way. I had the chance to select a few more pieces from Rosegal like this white teddy coat I have worn on multiple occasions along with my infamous black trousers with the red stripe down them. I collaborated with another fashion brand Gamiss and I have more posts planned with them so keep reading!
+ November
I visited London after what felt like ages, while it was an educational trip we managed to squeeze a handful of minutes in Covent Garden which is so magical during Christmas time. I also bought a bright red fur coat which 1 year ago would not have happened. I definitely developed my taste in fashion this year, I started wearing a lot more colour and just things in general which were out of my comfort zone.
+ December
This year ended on a great note for me personally and for my blog. I'm pretty sure I took the best photos ever to be posted on my blog in my 'beauty favourites'. I hope 2018 is just as great as 2017 was. As you grow older the years go by faster and being able to reflect on my journey not only as a blogger but as a person on this amazing platform is a blessing.
This A/W 17 has been the year of the 'faux fur' anything & everything from your classic faux fur coat to sweatshirts and trainers with fur on them. Faux fur coats can be extremely dressy but I'm going to show you how I would style a bold faux fur coat casually with a t-shirt and a pair of trousers I have been obsessed with recently.
+ Red faux fur coat - H&M
This is definitely my favourite piece out of my outerwear collection simply because of how bold it is! I adore the colour and the style, unlike my black faux fur coat with a hood this one has a collar. This is so easy to throw on especially with monochrome outfits.
+ Logo t-shirt - Levis
I think the style of this t-shirt is so fun, the Levis logo is made to look as if it's been hand drawn. It's a little different to your classic Levis logo top as it is black instead of red.
+ Red stripe trousers - Rosegal
These have slowly become my most worn pair of trousers and I think it is because of the red piping down the side of either leg, it adds a little something to a basic outfit. These are highwaisted and fit perfectly.
+ Suede pointed ankle boots - H&M
Now not everyone would wear straight-cut trousers with a pair of boots but I love the look of long trousers with a sleek pair of boots. Not only does it make your legs appear longer but also more fashion-forward.
With it finally getting cold, cold enough to wear your coats, it's time for a wardrobe refresh! I have a few key pieces from Rosegal which I can't wait to show you guys, they have some really cute Halloween clothes too. So here goes. . . .
This has to be my favourite coat right now, it has slowly but surely replaced my Leopard print oversized coat. It's warm, big and white. It looks great with an all black outfit and a killer pair of boots.
How gorgeous as these? I thought they would look amazing with a chunky knit jumper in the fall, they're perfect for dressing up an outfit. I adore the crystals and the way they are laid out with the thick black knotted rope.
Trousers have been my go-to lately and I have been seeing these trousers with a coloured stripe down the leg for the longest time plastered all over Instagram & various fashion blogs. I had to snap these up straight away, they fit perfectly and are actually high-waisted.
This is so simple but looks so good with a watch or arm candy in general and I love me some gold! Minimalism is everywhere, this is a little take-on that trend.
Stationery and clothes shopping has to be my favourite kind of shopping when it comes to 'Back to School' season simply because who doesn't love treating themselves to a new wardrobe? I've teamed up with Rosegal to show you guys some really affordable yet really fashionable pieces for the upcoming academic year or just you know life in general! Personally my go-to outfit for college or University is either a pair of jeans & a oversized jumper or long dresses that require no thought or effort because it's a whole outfit in its own.
I fell in love with these as soon as I laid my eyes on them, I'm not a huge advocate of coloured boots but these burgundy ones just made me drool, figuratively. The contrasting pink stripe adds a little something to help break up the sharp silhouette of the boot.
This particular half moon style earring has been all the rage in the "blogger" world of fashion and I can see why. The minimal design of these earrings can elevate an outfit from casual so somewhat chic and they are not big and bulky.
I really want to get my hands on a pair of these they're so effortlessly chic! Recently I myself have become a 'wearer of trousers' and now I want them in every colour, style and print just because they are incredibly comfortable and make you look a whole lot more presentable.
I don't think my love for belle sleeve tops will ever extinguish simply because they're so floaty and do not restrict arm movement. I adore the polka dot design on this particular one and you can never have too many white tops in your wardrobe.
As I am visiting Spain for the summer I decided I would do a guide on 'what to pack' for Spain based on hours of intensive Googling & frantic cramming since I'm only allowed a small carry-on and a bag. July is one of the hottest months in Spain and so clothes have to be light & airy and makeup is kept to a minimum. This is not everything I am taking, I am just showing you what I think are the absolute essentials for warmer countries like Spain in terms of clothing, makeup and toiletries.

To celebrate my cousins 18th birthday we headed to Tipu Sultan to hear what all the craze was about. The interior design and decor were to die for just like the one in Birmingham I mean just feast your eyes on all the photos above. The food was good, the butter chicken was impeccable and the fancy drinks were cool too but on a Friday night at 9:30 pm you can expect it to get busier than average which meant our service was not the best, nonetheless we had a great time. Do I recommend paying a visit? Hell yeah but don't set your expectations too high.
Now on to my outfit:
+ Flowy Satin shirt - River Island
+ Black jeans - H&M
+ Faux Suede heels - New Look
+ Moon & Star bag - Rosegal
