These are my go-to products when it comes to maintaining healthy skin while also targeting problem areas. Taking care and I mean actual care of your skin i.e. having a routine is vital. With that being said there is only so much you can do to the overall external appearance of your skin yet a slight change in your water intake or your diet has a noticeable impact.
If you guys have been following my skincare routine for a while then you know I am constantly on the hunt for new products that could potentially be part of my skincare routine. Oils or serums are a must in prepping my skin for moisturiser and makeup. Previously I was using the Vitamin E oil from the BodyShop and fell in love with how it improved the appearance of my skin but after finishing it I quickly found an alternative. Not only is bio oil moisturising, it also fades acne scars overtime and leaves the skin feeling plump and not greasy or heavy. It is incredibly lightweight and you only need the smallest amount.
Aloe vera gel has more purposes that I can count on both my hands but here's a few things I like to use it on: my face for reducing redness as well as inflammatory skin as well as my arms and legs after I've shaved to prevent any irritation. People tend to also use it as a moisturiser but as someone whose skin is heavily accustomed to thicker moisturisers it simply does not make the cut.
Again, I have typed on and on about this product and the quick yet effective impact it has on my skin when it is particularly spot-prone. I have no idea as to what is in this but it works regardless, I love putting a little on after moisturiser in the morning or just before I'm winding down for the day and getting ready for bed.
Last but not by any means the least a product I was only introduced to over the summer and is almost 3/4 through. This salicylic acid solution from the Ordinary is yet another product great for targeting problem areas. The only downside to this product is that it can increase your skin sensitivity and so it is only to be used on problem areas specifically and not all over.
I can't stress how important it is to take care of your skin, especially during the colder months where your skin has the tendency to become a little dehydrated. I did a similar blog post last year on skincare products I simply cannot live without during winter but this time I've focused mainly on the face and have switched up the products I use.
+ The BodyShop Vitamin E Overnight Serum In-Oil
Yes I know that this is an overnight oil, but I love using this on my face before moisturiser and before makeup just to really hydrate my skin. Personally I find this too thick for an overnight serum but it works wonders.
+ Nivea Creme & The BodyShop Vitamin E moisturiser
I switch it up depending on how I'm feeling on a particular morning, the Nivea creme is a lot more thicker and ideal for dry skin. The BodyShop one is a lot more lighter and more mousse-like so when I'm having a good skin day I like reaching for this one.
+ La Roche Posay Sensitive Cream & Eye cream & Vaseline
I recently got these samples through the post and was a little baffled at first simply because the instructions were in French. Once I had Google translated them I started using them, I use a small amount of the Sensitive cream on any red areas and then the eye cream under my eyes. I then use a little Vaseline on my lips.
+ Rose water facial spray
This is probably my favourite bit of my skin care routine which is drenching my face in Rose water, it's just so refreshing! It also makes my makeup look super dewy when I spray a little after doing my makeup.
The month of November has definitely dragged it felt like it was never going to end! Can anyone else relate? Nevertheless we are one month nearer to New Years which is insane. Aside from that here's a handful of things I've been obsessed with this past November.
My utter obsession for this month is 'Scream Queens'! Who else is in love with this show? When I first saw the trailer for this show I was immediately drawn so I searched it up and binge-watched the first few episodes. Since then I've been consecutively watching it every week.

My second love for this month is this gorgeous floral bomber jacket from 'Monki'. This jacket can be paired with simply anything and everything! I tend to wear my lilac shirt (which I hauled in my Holiday Haul) with this bomber jacket as the colours contrast very beautifully.
My next favourite is hair scrunchies, they come in all sorts of cool colours and patterns. I particularly like using them to put my hair up in a bun. Now this white leather wallet from H&M has been perfect for holding notes, receipts and the odd few pennies!

My last favourite is this pair of pearl earrings. I love the different take-on the classic pearl earrings with the larger pearl peeping through the bottom. I've also really been in to moisturising as weird as that sounds I feel like your skin needs more hydration during the colder months.
I cannot wait for next months posts, comment down below if you're excited for Christmas and all the other festive fun!
