Barcelona was almost a month ago which is crazy. From exploring the hustle and bustle of Las Ramblas to taking in the captivating views at Montjuïc Castle and eating compious amounts of pizza. Here are a few photos from our trip. 

Celebrating my birthday abroad this year was a little weird, not waking up to your family wishing you, no special birthday breakfast but despite that I was in Barcelona exploring a city I had never visited before, so that was a first. Nevertheless, I was spoilt just like any other year, here's a few bits I got during my birthday and a little after.


| Benefit 'Complexionista' 
This is the cutest face palette, I have wanted to try the 'hoola' powder bronzer for the longest time since trying the 'hoola' bronzing stick. There's two concealer shades and highlight shades too.


| ABH 'Soft glam' palette
I adore ABH and their palettes, ever since I was gifted the 'modern renaissance' palette for my 18th. Their shades are so pigmented, unbelievably pigmented, and quite frankly I cannot wait to start using this one.

| Huda Beauty lipstick 'El cinco de Mayo' 
Now I love a classic red lip every now and then and this is the epitome of a bold 'red' lip. I like that it is matte so it will not budge.


| Missguided faux croc mini bag
Honest to god, I have not stopped wearing this bag ever since I got it, it's the ideal size and it has gold hardware. It actually fits in more than you can imagine.


| Black leather bag & Woven hoops
I can't wait to wear these more and more in the summer time and as for the black bag, well black goes with practically anything and everything.


| MAC 'Taupe'
This is my go-to lipstick and I am so glad I have a new one. It's the perfect your lips-but-better' shade and pairs well with every look.

I have been buying a lot recently, more than I should but I blame going on holiday for my unecessary impulse purchases. There's a handful of things I have reached for constantly during the end of July and first half of August. Keep reading to see what I have been obsessed with recently.


+ Kiko hydra-gloss '21' 
I have wanted a coloured gloss for the longest time, but one that actually lasts. Kiko have a wide range of lip stuff and I have used and loved a lot of their products and was not surprised when this one made the cut too. It's super glossy and pigmented too but I still apply a base colour first and then use this over the top.


+ Lightwash straight-legged jeans 'H&M' 
I love my straight-legged, 'mom' and oversized fit jeans, probably more than skinny jeans. They are extremely comfy and the light-wash, borderline acid wash, jeans are a little different. Ideal for the summer but can be worn during the colder months too.

+ Crystal gold bracelet 'Naina Barcelona' 
This is one of the nicest bracelets I have ever bought from being abroad, the upside it was only 7 euros but the downside is it will probably discolour in time. I love layering it with my watch and other bracelets.


+ Blending brushes 'Qivange' 
I needed some new eye brushes for the wedding and so naturally I used Amazon prime and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the quantity considering the price. They are really fluffy and wash incredibly well.


+ Contrast stitch over-shirt 'H&M' 
I like this so much I bought it in Khaki too, both of these can be styled in so many ways. I've worn it as a shirt, a dress and a jacket too. They're great for layering and go perfectly with the rest of my wardrobe.

This Spring/Summer 19 season has been all about accessorising and quite frankly I am here for it! The whole pearl bags, mini bags, over the top beaded hair pins, tortoise-shell everything and cool shades. I have been accumulating a few bits myself and will share the pieces I have been wearing with my outfits.
