I love visiting London whether it's during Summer or our so-called Spring! This was my first trip I planned by myself and learnt how to use the tube stations despite my little mishap in attempting to locate Oxford Street, it's safe to say we got there in the end! Cake for breakfast is always a good option and if you like pink then Peggy Porschen is the place to visit. Museums are always a classic, whether you're there for a few Instagram photo opportunities or there to actually obtain new knowledge about all kind of things from dinosaurs to crystals. Window shopping another must in London especially with department stores, if anything it's an opportunity to adore the interiors of major designers like Gucci and YSL with their marble walls and vivid display cabinets ... oh and their bags too of course! I'm always up for a good burger and so Burgeri seemed like a sensible choice a) it was halal, b) it was on Oxford Street making it convenient and c) burgers. Oh I also bought a box of Ben's cookies and boy they were good!
March is a little bit of an awkward month for me, it always has been. It's no longer the start of the new year but it's also not quite Spring yet and it's part of the few transitional months before exam stress kicks in. The first week of March was spent questioning the weather and to be specific, questioning the copious amount of snow we were hit with. In terms of productivity my biggest accomplishment of this month was finally finishing off Gossip Girl, oh an my sponsored post with Quiz clothing! I'm sharing a few of my favourites for this month and the latter half of February.
+ Gold Hoops - Claire's
These have been in my ears ever since I picked them up, they're so elegant. When it comes to jewellery it is all-gold for me, it looks so much more classier but can also be incredibly hard to find especially when majority of the hoops sold in high street stores are silver. These are nice and small, they're incredibly lightweight and look great paired with more hoops.
Ever since trying this more than a year ago and noticing a difference in my skin, I finally caved and picked it up from Boots when buying my lunch. How convenient? I have used this consistently since, however I will only apply it in areas that are blemish prone and require a little extra help as it can dry out your skin.
+ White fluffy Jumper - Zara
While this might have been an impulse buy, you can never own too many white jumpers! Jumpers & trousers are my go-to when it comes to dressing myself, it's a cosy option but also one I feel good in. This has a neck I would otherwise despise but the white swirly fur swayed me, I love experimenting with new textures.
Honestly speaking, I did not think I would wear these boots as much as I have simply because they can be a little dressy for everyday. I love styling them with an all-black outfit because of the contrast of the different textures. Considering I have worn them in the rain multiple times they have help up surprisingly well, not that I am complaining.
+ Black crossbody bag
I go through phases with makeup, fashion and accessories and it's safe to say that I am obsessing over this bag again. I bought this strap from H&M and it's completely revamped the entire bag. I adore the chain detailing which is braided into the leather strap.
This upcoming SS18 is going to be all about the colour, the bright, the bold and the brilliant! Whether it be a pop of colour with a statement bag or a monochrome outfit featuring 1 colour, I can't wait to show you some of my picks from Gamiss for this Summer.
I adore the size of this bag, it may be small but is still rather practical. The colour is what sold it to me, it's a bright red with orange undertones. I'd pair this with a classic pair of blue 'mom' jeans & a white jumper or shirt.
Stripes are a classic when it comes to Spring, the thick stripes really contrast against the white. This is not your average chunky knit sweater, it's a lot thinner making it perfect for warmer days.
How cool are these? Aside from shading you from the sun, they're great to cover up those no-makeup days and for running errands. I love how big these are and I love anything leopard print when its done right!
Jumpers are a staple when it comes to dressing in the UK, even when it seems to get a little warmer, I mean it's still snowing and we're almost in March. The sleeves add that little something to your standard cream jumper.
Black boots are my go-to when I'm not wearing trainers, I love the little gold rivets around the rim of the shoe, they make them that little bit more special.
