The silence is deafening. 11 million children in Yemen need your help. Do not let their cries go unheard. The people of Yemen are in need of basic human necessities. Branded the world's largest humanitarian crisis by the UN. A country on the brink of famine. Their future lies in our hands.
If you are reading this then the chances are you already are in a far more privileged position than the lives in Yemen fighting to live another day whether you want to admit or not. Before anything I am Muslim, but before anything else we are human. How can we ignore the cries of our brothers and sisters in Yemen? What we must do is educate ourselves on the atrocities they have been facing for several years now but this only goes so far. The media is a powerful medium, one we must use to our advantage, one we must use to shed a light on what is happening in Yemen, and one we must use to ensure change occurs. Believe it or not a simple like, share, retweet, a donation (irrespective of the amount) will help more than you and I can ever comprehend if we all help collectively. Your effort will not go unnoticed and the voices of Yemen will not go unheard. Each and every one of us has a platform and it is time to make a change.
